Mojo picón (spicy dipping sauce)

Ingredients:

• 1 hot red pepper
• 1 tablespoon of paprika
• Cumin
• Oregano
• 4 cloves of garlic
• A dash of oil
• 1 small cup of vinegar
• Water
• Salt

Preparation:

Place the pepper in a mortar along with the cumin and oregano, according to taste, the garlic cloves, salt and the paprika and crush the ingredients until the mixture has a uniform consistency. Add the oil and mix well. Add the vinegar and stir. Finally, add water and serve.
