This is an extraordinary religious event characterized by the production of rugs on the main streets of the district.

Rugs are one of the most representative artistic manifestations of this festivity, as well as flour tapestries, volcanic sands and salt. They are prepared specially for this day's celebration. Works of art are created with ingredients as simple as these and a few hours later, they are stepped on by the procession.
